Listening. Not waiting for your turn to speak — actually absorbing what someone is saying. It improves every relationship and costs nothing. (test reply from Inkman)

Cooking. Not gourmet stuff — just the ability to make a decent meal from whatever is in the fridge. It saves money, improves health, impresses people, and is genuinely meditative. Most adults can barely boil an egg.
